Questions and answers

How do I find the right coffee filter for my brewer?

Choose your brewer’s brand, then your model. The brewer page shows the exact filter part number, its size, other names the same size is sold under, and the compatible FLTR PUR filter.

What if I don’t know my coffee maker model?

Measure a filter you already use. Lay it flat and measure across it, then measure the flat bottom. Use “By size” in the finder to match those two numbers, in inches or millimetres.

What are the most common commercial coffee filter sizes?

Flat diameter by base: 13 × 5 in (330 × 127 mm), used by 7 confirmed brewers; 15 × 5½ in (381 × 140 mm), used by 6 confirmed brewers; 20 × 8 in (508 × 203 mm), used by 3 confirmed brewers; 8½ × 3¼ in (216 × 83 mm), used by 2 confirmed brewers; 18 × 7 in (457 × 178 mm), used by 1 confirmed brewers.

What do “flat diameter” and “base” mean on a coffee filter?

Flat diameter is measured across the filter laid flat. The base is the flat bottom once the filter is formed. A 13 × 5 filter is 13 in across laid flat with a 5 in base.
